Advent is a season of hope and expectation. In Advent, we prepare our hearts and anticipate Jesus’ arrival, waiting, watching, and expecting the world to turn toward justice.

Each week in Advent, Dreams and Visions will gather to walk an outdoor labyrinth in Druid Hill Park. The labyrinth is an ancient practice. We walk a winding path, praying and listening as we are guided to the center.

In the season of Advent, God has set a path for each of us, lined with discovery and hope.

Bring a small object that reminds you of our theme, “Enlighten.” You will be able to take the object back home with you.

Masks over nose and mouth and social distance are required at all times. Readers and leaders will all be masked. Hand sanitizer will be available and the microphone will be wiped down between uses.

Directions:

Navigate to the corner of Clipper Park Road and Parkdale Ave, at the North side of Druid Hill Park

Continue down Parkdale until it dead ends.

Look for the Dreams and Visions blue welcome table

We’ll meet at 3:45pm, then walk together to the labyrinth, which is up a short, uphill, unpaved path in Druid Hill Park.

Please dress for the weather, and bring a camping chair

The service will be 50 minutes, so we can depart from the park before dark.
