Dreams and Visions is a church in Baltimore that’s awake to the realities of our world and alive to the possibilities of God.
Together, we’re creating an imaginative space of restoration, where we find the courage to be our full selves.

Dreams and Visions gathers every first Sunday of the month for a “Simple Sunday Service”
Each service is designed around a theme and takes place in our intimate Queer Saints Chapel.
Check the schedule page for details.
Each service is designed around a simple theme, and includes a structured pattern of singing, prayers, reflection, and communion. There is room for the Holy Spirit to be present.
At each gathering we hear a story from a preacher who reflects on biblical passage we’re exploring. We also tell our own stories by offering our own brief reflections. We’ve noticed that God shows up in our stories, and when we listen to stories, we encounter God.
We gather to share our experiences as Queer people who have rich spiritual lives. Sometimes this means reflecting on how our religious backgrounds have formed or challenged us. Sometimes it means looking for the way Queerness shows up in the bible, and our faith traditions.
Worship takes place in our small Queer Saints Chapel, located inside St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, in the Station North neighborhood of Baltimore. The address is 1900 St. Paul Street.
One the first Sunday of the month, from 4-5pm.
Park in the St. Mark’s parking lot on the corner of St. Paul Street and 20th. The area is serviced by tons of bus lines, including the Silver, Purple, Green, and Gold. Penn Station is just a short walk away.
There is one flight of stairs leading to the worship space upstairs. We are working to install an elevator as soon as we possibly can. If you need help navigating stairs, contact us to give us a heads up.
An ASL interpreter is present at every worship service.
Everyone wears a name tag at worship with space for our pronouns. At each service Emily, our pastor, reminds the congregation why this is an important practice for the community.
The bathrooms are are gender neutral. There is one single stall restroom and another gender neutral restroom with multiple stalls.
Kids are key at Dreams and Visions. You and your children are welcome to do what you need to do to make worship an engaging experience for everyone. Every service has a kids area with pillows and blankets so children and babies can see and participate. Kids are an integral part of worship, and usually have a special job to do during the service.
It’s our hope that kids will feel involved in worship. But even when it seems like they’re not paying attention, they’re soaking up so much! Feel free to let them roam, sing and dance, make sounds or eat snacks. Breast feeding is welcome in worship, or if you prefer there are many private nooks to choose from!
You are invited to be in the space any way that works for you. Move around, find a nook or a corner, light a candle, and be away from the action for a while.
Our sound and lighting levels are kept low.
