After a year of quarantine we’re ready to be resurrected, with the QUEEREST socially distant Easter Parade-inspired celebration you have ever seen! So pull out your most flamboyant flowered hat, your dapper-est bow tie, you featheriest fascinator or your best pair of spats and suspenders, because it’s Easter Sunday and that means pastels and pinstripes, and a picnic!

Our fun, outdoor, socially distanced service will include (but not be limited to) good music, stories of resurrection and hope, some form of egg hunt, socially distant communion, and a super fab mini-Easter Parade with gregarious judges who will promptly give everyone a 10. Also, possibly, rabbits. If the COVID-19 positivity rate is still below 5%, those who wish can then spread out even further for a socially distant picnic

Thing to bring:

-A camping chair or picnic blanket to sit on

-a small piece of bread or cracker for communion, and if you wish, wine or grape juice

-Some snacks if you would like to stay for the picnic.

Be sure to bring your own camping chair or picnic blanket to sit on. And if you wish to take part in the socially distant picnic after the service, bring your own snacks. Those not comfortable eating in an outdoor setting can choose to depart immediately after the service.

Navigate to 3000 North Charles Street, at the corner of North Charles and 30th, and look for the Dreams and Visions table. The grassy area where we’ll be gathering is accessible by a paved ramp and not far from the street.

The service will also be live-streamed to the Dreams and Visions facebook page for those who wish to attend from home.
