Sunday Gathering: Green Space

  • cylburn arboretum 4915 Greenspring Avenue Baltimore, MD, 21209 United States (map)

As the pandemic begins to wane, we’re asking, what do we need now, spiritually and emotionally? How can we find our way back to ourselves and each other?

After hearing from all of you, it seems we need looser, softer ways to gather as we slowly make our way back to community. We need to connect us with the earth, each other and God, in a way that’s informal and loose.

This Sunday, we’ll gather at Cylburn Arboretum, which is lush, quiet and green, to take in some beauty, and walk, talk and chat among the trees. There’s a nice shady grove where we can gather, and both paved paths and short trails to explore. This informal walk in a beautiful setting will give us a chance to catch up with each other and ourselves. Our time together will be framed with brief conversation about what this year has meant for each of us, and conclude with a simple ritual of restoration.

Cylburn closes at 5pm, so if you’d like more time to explore, arrive a little early!
