Baltimore Ceasefire is an grassroots organization that calls a quarterly ceasefire in our city, in response to gun violence. There are events throughout the city the weekend of November 2-4.

This Sunday Baltimore Ceasefire 365 is holding a Citywide Vigil, as part of the Ceasefire weekend events at City Hall.

Baltimore Ceasefire BMore Citywide Vigil at City Hall, 100 Holliday Street

Healing Baltimore by healing our communities. We are holding a candle light vigil honoring all who have lost their lives to violence in Baltimore. As we come together as one (regardless of race, religion, sexuality, gender identity, etc) we shall mend broken bridges in our home.

Please arrive at 4:30 pm for the event. Bring candles, lights, flashlights, etc to hold up to honor your loved one. The event starts at 5 pm and is followed by a celebration of life. Call 443-273-6094 or email BCCBloc@gmail.com.

The ultimate goal of Baltimore Ceasefire 365 is for everyone in the city to commit to zero murders. We are starting by calling ceasefire weekends. In doing the outreach for ceasefire weekends, residents are:

• helping each other get the resources they need in their lives

• having conversations with each other about how to handle conflict differently

• making commitments to one another to be non-violent in thoughts, words, and deeds, for AT LEAST the ceasefire weekend.
