Queer Suppers: Cook Day and Volunteer Training

  • St. Mark's Luthearn Baltimore 1900 Saint Paul Street Baltimore, MD, 21218 United States (map)

So many of our LGBTQ+ family are living with housing and food insecurity. Together, we can create a safe, warm place to share a meal and build our community.

This November and December, let's offer a twice monthly hot meal for LGBTQ+ kin. We'll need volunteers like you to make it happen!

Attend this volunteer training and cook day on Sunday, November 3 from 1-5pm. We'll spend the day cooking casseroles to be frozen for future meals, as well as receive trainings in cultural competency and privilege assessment, led by Kevi Smith and a trauma-informed presence training.

We take the emotional, spiritual, and physical safety of everyone who shares these meals very seriously. For this reason, attending this training is mandatory for all volunteers.

To sign up for the training, fill out this quick form.
