Journey in the path of Jesus, as we observe a simple and somber Stations of the Cross prayer walk through our neighborhood of Station North. Jesus' death on the cross places him in solidarity with the crucified peoples of the world, through history and today. Together we will bear witness to the places in our neighborhood where God's children have been abandoned, persecuted, or betrayed.
The prayer walk will take a slow pace and take us around a single block of our neighborhood. The route will be wheelchair accessible. Please dress for the weather.
Afterward, we will share a simple meal in the St. Mark's Fellowship Hall of grilled cheese and tomato soup.
The prayer walk is a collaboration among Dreams and Visions, St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, and North Ave Mission.
