Back by popular demand—Dreams and Visions takes a break from indoor sacred space making to hang out in in the wilds of Rockrose City Farm.
As we prepare for a new season of growth at Dreams and Visions, it’s about time to learn from some hardworking farmers. This week, our favorite partner, Farmer Derrick Weston, welcomes us back again this year to learn about all of the hard work that goes into making sweet potatoes so sweet. We’ll become part of their harvesting process, explore some of their gardens, and reflect on how it inspires us to grow in relationship to God and one another.
Trips in nature are becoming something of a tradition at Dreams and Visions. As a community, regular retreats out of our usual space give us a chance to reset and relate to each other even more creatively. We hope you’ll wear your comfiest (and/or cutest?) fall outfit and join us for an adventure.
The farm is located at 3800 Clipper Road, Baltimore, MD 21211. Please fill out this Google form to RSVP to let us know whether you need a ride, or write to Vicar Claire, vicar@stmarksbaltimore.org. We are happy to collect a group at the Dreams and Visions sacred space near St. Paul Street or make additional pick-ups as possible.

Dreams and Visions is an LGBTQ+ rooted community. We honor your full selves, use your pronouns, and do our best to create trauma-informed spaces. Gender neutral bathrooms are available. While the lower level is accessible by ramp, the new worship space is located up a set of stairs. Please contact Vicar Claire at vicar@stmarksbaltimore.org if you have trouble navigating stairs, and we will work with you to create a plan.
Dreams and Visions staff keep an eye on COVID data to ensure that community policies stay up to date. For now, we remain masked at all indoor gatherings. We are still singing, and we will do it only when we are outside and wearing masks. Each time we gather, we confirm safety preferences with those present to ensure that everyone is comfortable. As always, these precautions are intended to help all who join us feel at home.
